近代粵人服飾從衣料到款式，既彰顯風土特色，並通過傳承與改良滲入現代時裝的風格。是次文獻介紹上溯十九世紀中葉嶺南服飾的趨勢，探尋二十世紀初至八十年代的衣着流變，透過本館文獻徵集行動徵得的舊相片、剪報和報刊圖片等呈現百載民生風情，展現近代廣東人勇於嘗新的精神面貎。 Cantonese attire, with the use of indigenous fabrics and unique clothing style, not only preserves traditional elements but also incorporates the styles of modern fashion. The document display explores the changes of Cantonese clothing, presenting people’s livelihood and willingness of trying new styles over the past century through old photographs, newspaper clippings, etc. collected through the Documents Collection Campaign.
