The Department of Translation at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is pleased to bring you an upcoming International Conference for Theory in Practice to be held on Friday and Saturday, 6-7 December 2024. This Conference aims to bridge the gap between theoretical frameworks and practical applications within the field of translation and interpreting.We have invited a total of 46 distinguished scholars from around the world to present their work. The Conference will serve as a platform to discuss recent advances, explore innovative approaches, and engage with the practical challenges and solutions found in the application of theory to translation practice.
