The Lectureship brings together global expertise to explore the transformative intersection of technology, the humanities as well as Chinese Culture, offering a platform for intellectual exchange. It is our great pleasure to have Professor Peter K. Bol, Charles H. Carswell Professor of East Asian Languages and Civilizations, from Harvard University as the guest speaker this year.
The Lectureship includes two public lectures and two hands-on workshops, including themes such as AI’s revolutionary impact on the humanities, the multidimensional study of China’s intellectual history, and practical applications of digital tools like the China Biographical Database (CBDB).
